Salvia Seeds - Pink Sundae

$300

Average Seed Count: 50

The Salvia Pink Sunday plant is easy-to-grow from flower seed, and it is vigorous, quick growing, nicely branching, and tops out at about 28 inches tall. Deadheading keeps fresh blooms coming, but this Salvia will also re-seed, so leave a few spent blooms on the plant to drop Salvia seeds for next season's display.

Growing Info

Transplant (recommended): Sow into 72-cell flats, 5-7 weeks before planting out. Gently press seed into soil, covering only enough to hold seeds in place as light is required for germination. Bottom water or mist lightly to avoid covering seed with displaced soil. Transplant into cell packs or larger containers. Harden off and transplant outside after the last frost. Direct seed: Sow 2-4 seeds every 12-18". Thin seedlings to 12-18" apart.
