Lavender is an Old World ornamental plant in the mint family that is also commercially cultivated for its highly fragrant blossoms. This variety, commonly called lavandin, is a cross between Lavandula angustifolia, or English lavender and L. latifolia, also known as spike lavender and Portuguese lavender.

Uses:
cosmetic: Infuse in oil, water or alcohol to produce various toiletries.
decorative: Include in herbal displays and floral crafts.
culinary: Add to teas and seasoning blends.
